Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Retail Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store operations, supervising the team, and ensuring overall store performance. From developing action plans to implementing training programs, your leadership will be key to driving success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans for improved store performance.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Ensure adherence to company strategy and values to foster teamwork.
• Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
• Provide product feedback and participate in the hiring process.
• Maintain inventory procedures, cleanliness standards, and stock levels.
• Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues when necessary.
• Ensure highest level of customer service and compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Prior retail experience, with management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
