Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store management team, you will assist in supervising day-to-day store activities, enhancing overall store performance, managing schedules, and fostering team growth through training opportunities.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $24.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
• Monitor the competitive environment and recommend necessary adjustments.
• Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness and appropriate stock levels.
• Supervise team operations and provide excellent customer service.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
