Associate Buyer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Associate Buyer to join our growing ALDI National Buying team. As part of the team, you will work closely with suppliers and the Buying Director to oversee the product life cycle, manage multiple projects, and ensure the highest quality products are available to our customers. If you have exceptional organizational skills, critical thinking abilities, and a passion for retail, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Support the Buying Director in product life cycle management.
• Organize and manage product samples from suppliers.
• Provide commodity insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Coordinate project information flow internally and externally.
• Solve vendor and product-related issues effectively.
• Utilize various applications for database management and reporting.
• Act as a liaison between internal and external parties.
• Provide training to new staff and contribute to team efforts.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Business or related field required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
