Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs - Oncology

Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Medical Director, Medical Affairs - Oncology at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing life-changing medicines for patients worldwide. In this role, you will support US Medical Affairs activities related to HER2+ target therapy in Gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA) and secondarily in Biliary tract cancers (BTCs). This position involves developing and maintaining evidence-based scientific and educational programs, working closely with the Medical Affairs team, and providing medical support for various initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support US Medical Affairs activities related to HER2+ target therapy in GEA and BTCs.
• Develop and maintain non-promotional, evidence-based scientific and educational programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to execute regional Medical Plans.
• Contribute to various Medical Affairs initiatives, including Market Access support and Medical Congress activities.

Requirements

• Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/healthcare/academic industry experience.
• Strong clinical or scientific background in Oncology.
• Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting clinical-medical trial data.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.

Travel

20-30% domestic travel required.
