Join us at Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) in North Charleston, SC, on a Variable Shift as an Aircraft Painter (Associate or Experienced) supporting the 787 Program. This role involves preparing exterior aircraft surfaces for painting, applying primers, paints, finishes, and external markings. The selected candidate must work 100% onsite at our North Charleston location.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares exterior surfaces of aircraft for painting.
  • Makes necessary patterns, performs layout, and applies primers, paints, and finishes to the exterior of aircraft.
  • Applies aircraft finishes and external markings to aircraft sections.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be willing to work any shift assigned, including overtime.
  • 1+ years of painting experience in aircraft, automotive, industrial, or general painting.
  • Required to wear fall protection gear, safety equipment, and masks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Aircraft paint experience.

Education/Experience

Associate (Level B): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Experienced (Level C): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Shift

This is a variable shift position. You will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based on business needs and remain until re-evaluation.

Total Rewards

Total compensation includes a competitive salary, sign-on bonus, and benefits package. Pay is based on experience and market factors.

Associate (Level B) summary pay range: $54,260 - $58,230

Experienced (Level C) summary pay range: $65,660 - $67,020
