Job Description
Sevita, a Tungland Company, is currently hiring Caregivers to provide community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will support participants with their daily routines, personal hygiene, and developmental goals, while creating meaningful relationships and promoting independence. Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and support them with their daily routines.
- Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve, promoting independence and a fulfilling life.
- Support participants with developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and community involvement.
- Take initiative to ensure participants are included in community activities and can enjoy their favorite activities.
- Provide support to individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs, displaying compassion, patience, and understanding.

Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Experience: Preferred six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination.
- Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
- Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
- Vehicle: Valid Driver's License (Required) and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
