Job Description

Mentor Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Join our mission-driven team to help individuals grow, learn, and live well. This is a full-time 2nd shift position (3 pm - 11 pm) located in the Irmo & Garners Ferry Area of Town.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals with personal hygiene.
• Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop meaningful relationships and engage individuals in community activities.
• Assist individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patience, compassion, reliability, responsibility.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license, access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
