Salary: Up to $98,000 annually
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL A Tanker Driver to join our team at Wright Media. As a valuable member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for delivering items such as gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricating oil, and other products to customers within a designated route, ensuring safe and timely transportation.
Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver hazardous substances or non-hazardous products by operating a tanker truck within compliance with all safety regulations.
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, document and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations, including maintaining a clean and organized vehicle and accurate paperwork.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and adhere to delivery schedules.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement in the state of residence.
- Minimum of six (6) months verifiable experience driving a minimum of five (5) axle diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination unit.
- Hazmat endorsement may be required in some locations.
- Stable work history and a minimum age of 21.
- Must be able to pass a road test, DOT physical exam, pulmonary function test, and a controlled substance test.
