Central Sterile Reprocessing Educator

Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a dedicated CSR Educator to lead educational and instructional programs for the Central Sterile Reprocessing staff at the University of Vermont Medical Center. As an integral part of the team, you will design, develop, and implement training initiatives to ensure the department maintains high reliability, quality assurance, and employee safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop educational programs for orientation, training, and ongoing monitoring.
• Assist staff in acquiring and maintaining IAHCSMM certification.
• Monitor reprocessing operations in the University of Vermont Medical Center Clinics.
• Update and evaluate Practice Documents and Policies to enhance efficiency and safety.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification in CSPDT or CRCST and Certified Endoscope Reprocessing.
• Experience in Central Sterile Reprocessing with technician certification.
• Strong interpersonal, teambuilding, and computer skills.
