Job Description
We are looking for a Community Bank President/Ag Lender to join Bank Iowa Corporation in Newton. In this role, you will lead a team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants, generate quality Ag and Commercial loans, and represent Bank Iowa within the community. You will manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio, build strong client relationships, and drive business growth in the Southeast Iowa Region. Additionally, you will play a vital role in community activities to enhance the bank's visibility and influence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the bank's values, culture, and strategic direction as the primary community representative.
- Drive community bank loan and deposit growth goals through business development activities.
- Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio, approving loans and fostering client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of lending and banking experience as an Ag & Commercial Loan Officer.
- Strong agriculture background and management experience preferred.
