Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Construction Cost Project Analyst to join Aldi's National Real Estate Services team in Dublin, OH. As a Construction Cost Project Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing construction costs at a national level, collaborating with divisional real estate teams to evaluate construction bids and ensure alignment with project scopes and regional cost trends.

Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to develop negotiation points with contractors.
• Provide pricing data and guidance to divisional teams for consistent pricing structures.
• Analyze bids and prepare reports for project award decisions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative construction practices.
• Conduct regular market pricing reviews and provide pricing forecasts.
• Collaborate with team members, communicate effectively, and contribute to a motivated workforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and utilize construction cost indices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and RS Means software.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
