Job Description

The Construction Project Director at BluSky is responsible for managing and closing new business opportunities in the restoration and construction industry. Collaborating with owners and managers of commercial, industrial, government, and residential properties, this role involves developing cost estimates for restoration, renovation, environmental, and roofing services. Key responsibilities include sales, revenue management, profit margin oversight, AR & collections, business development, estimating proficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction, and internal team coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales targets
  • Negotiate and execute contracts, selling all services offered by BluSky
  • Oversee revenue production, ensuring timely billings and deposits
  • Develop and manage project budgets in compliance with profit margins
  • Engage in intentional collection conversations with customers
  • Manage near-term opportunities, close leads, and maintain communication with clients
  • Conduct business development activities, attend meetings, and market BluSky at events
  • Provide accurate project estimates, sketch affected areas, and justify costs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent communication and updates
  • Coordinate with internal teams for mitigation, reconstruction, business development, and project accounting

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing/business development and sales experience in construction/restoration industry
  • Construction estimating and/or large loss and catastrophe experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xactimate, and social media platforms
  • Strong communication skills and project management knowledge
  • Strong business ethics, OSHA certification, and Bachelor's degree or equivalent
