Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cook to join our team at Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway. As a Cook, you will work alongside the Chef to prepare meals, ensuring high standards of quality and service. You will also be responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness and overseeing kitchen operations in the Chef's absence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef with food preparation and maintain food quality, quantity, and cost.
• Enforce standard recipes for consistency in taste and portion control.
• Ensure kitchen security and safety measures are in place.
• Collaborate with management to enhance guest satisfaction and maintain kitchen standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; 3 or more years of hotel operations experience preferred.
• Proficient in English for reading, writing, and effective communication with customers and colleagues.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift weights, and maneuver in the kitchen environment.
