Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join Charter Senior Living, a company that values creativity and nutritional expertise. As a Cook, you will have the opportunity to prepare high-quality meals, create a positive dining experience for residents, and contribute to the smooth operation of the Dining Services Department.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and resolve food service issues with team members and leaders promptly.
• Prepare and present breakfast, lunch, and dinner following designated recipes.
• Adhere to health, safety, and infection control practices.
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
• Assist in dishwashing and support other duties as required.

Requirements

• Serve Safe Certification may be required.
• Experience working with the elderly is a plus.
• Proficiency in English preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods may be necessary.
