Position Summary:

The Cook at Calumet Trace Senior Living is responsible for crafting and delivering high-quality meals, ensuring exceptional service, and contributing to the smooth operation of the Dining Services Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promptly address and troubleshoot any food service issues with team members.
• Prepare and present meals for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
• Adhere to health department, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
• Assist in caring for elderly residents' dietary needs with professionalism and compassion.

Other Requirements:

• Must possess or obtain Serve Safe Certification as required.
• Experience working with the elderly is a plus.
• Proficient in English with the ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to lift, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Background check required for employment.
