Job Description:

As a Critical Infrastructure Manager I at Flexential, you will play a crucial role in owning the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment for our data centers. Your responsibilities include ensuring mission-critical uptime of 99.999% or higher, serving as a technical resource for various teams, and driving efforts to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

• 24x7 facility on-call responsibility
• Manage all aspects of data center operations to achieve 99.999% uptime
• Collaborate on cross-market initiatives for operational improvements
• Oversee vendor relationships and compliance with company policies
• Prepare reports on facility performance and customer utilization
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and training materials
• Conduct facility rounds and tours, configure monitoring systems, and more

Required Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in critical infrastructure operations
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems in data centers
• Military or trade experience is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Electrical or mechanical certifications
• 3+ years of data center operation experience
• Advanced training in management and technical skills
• Demonstrated ability in functional/technical depth

Physical Requirements:

• Sit, walk, or stand for extended periods
• Keyboard usage, lifting up to 50 lbs., and occasional travel
