Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies, procedures, and maintain document security
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
- Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcohol
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
