Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and maintaining store cleanliness, you will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for shoppers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills in all tasks.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Fulfill state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience is a plus.
