Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
  • Operate cash register efficiently and follow cash policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security measures.
  • Perform general cleaning duties and ensure store cleanliness.
  • Handle and sell alcoholic beverages following state and local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficiently operate cash register and store equipment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Prior retail experience is preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
