Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a valuable member of our store staff, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. Your interactions with customers and collaborative work with the ALDI team will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with company policies, prioritize security, and maintain confidentiality
- Perform additional assigned duties as needed
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Capability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages, following regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Prior retail work experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
