Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cashiering, merchandising, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Collaboration with team members and effective communication are key aspects of this position.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
  • Comply with company policies while ensuring the security and confidentiality of data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register.
  • Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Prior retail experience preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
