Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure the store's top-notch appearance. Your role will significantly contribute to enhancing the overall customer shopping experience through exceptional service and collaboration with the Aldi team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe and proper handling of equipment and tools.
• Capability to perform general cleaning tasks at company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Compliance with state and local regulations on alcoholic beverage handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a retail setting is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to the required knowledge.
