Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the Aldi team. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store's cleanliness. With a focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases and maintain the cleanliness of the store.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays with attention to neatness and organization.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to improve store performance.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies while upholding document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Skilled in performing general cleaning duties to meet company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
