Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

As a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's optimal appearance and the delivery of exceptional customer service. You'll collaborate with the Aldi team, merchandise products, cashier, and assist customers in their shopping experience. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate key competencies and professional skills while performing assigned duties.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and follow cash handling policies.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain security and confidentiality standards.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift and stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds, perform various physical tasks, and work independently or in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
• Able to operate equipment like jacks and scrubbers.
• Capable of following company policies, communicating effectively, and multitasking efficiently.
• Meet any state requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
