Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service, ensure efficient operations, and contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning tasks, and maintain neatly stocked shelves.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their needs and inquiries.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and other relevant matters.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
• Safe operation of equipment like a hand jack, floor scrubber, and baler.
• Capability to maintain cleanliness according to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
