Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a key part in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store appearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandising displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
  • Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
  • Adhere to company policies and ensure confidentiality of data
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of cash register
  • Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks and scrubbers
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask
  • Compliance with local laws regarding alcohol sales
  • Prior retail experience preferred
