Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. Your role will involve merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with our team, you will ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
- Assist customers, communicate effectively with the team and management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of meeting company standards for cleaning and operational procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High school diploma preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
