Job Description
As a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the store operates smoothly and provides exceptional service to customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies in daily tasks
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Comply with all company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
- Able to operate store equipment and perform cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and can multitask efficiently
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
