Job Description

We are looking for a Director, Global Medical Affairs, Neuroscience-Sleep to join our team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As a key member of the Global Medical Affairs Department, you will lead the development of an integrated Global Medical Affairs Strategy and Plan for our neuroscience product, with a focus on sleep. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product lifecycle management and drive scientific and medical communications globally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated Global Medical strategy for the neuroscience sleep product.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop evidence generation plans in alignment with global objectives.
  • Participate in phase IV studies, Health Economics, and Real World Evidence generation.
  • Craft and execute communication strategies, publication plans, and congress participation.
  • Stay informed on scientific advancements in the sleep market and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with regional Medical Affairs teams to address regional needs.
  • Develop KPIs to track the success of the medical strategy.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders and engage in expert development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with international codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other GMA leads and share best practices.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience in Neurology/Psychiatry, specifically in Sleep.
  • 7-10 years of Medical Affairs and/or clinical development experience in neurosciences.
  • Experience in developing and executing Global Medical Affairs Strategies and Plans.
  • Strong organizational skills and customer focus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and positive attitude.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Doctorate degree required, MD degree preferred.
