Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Director of Nursing to join our team at Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services. This role involves overseeing the nursing clinical management of our programs, collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients. Responsibilities include providing guidance to clinical nursing staff, ensuring compliance with nursing standards, investigating incidents, and participating in quality improvement studies. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's in Nursing (Master's preferred) with experience in nursing administration and strong leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support quality patient care in our programs.
- Provide guidance to nursing staff and Program Managers.
- Investigate incidents and grievances, and assist in quality improvement studies.
- Stay updated on regulatory guidelines and assist in maintaining compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Nursing (Master's preferred).
- Prior experience in nursing administration or supervisory role in behavioral health.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
This leadership role does not have any direct reports. The position is exempt under FLSA status. We require all staff to be vaccinated against influenza and COVID-19.
