Job Description
As a District Manager Intern at ALDI, you will gain unparalleled real-world experience by working closely with district managers in running multi-million dollar businesses. This opportunity offers a unique insight into what makes ALDI America's fastest-growing grocery retailer.
This full-time, 10-week summer internship program in the Southern & Southwest Florida division provides a competitive wage of $28.00 per hour plus eligibility for overtime. Successful completion may lead to a full-time position upon graduation.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Acquire knowledge from trainers and understand the importance of leading by building a culture of excellence
- Shadow store managers, learn store operations, and prepare presentations for ALDI executives
- Assist with administrative tasks, hiring, inventory, and store reset
- Enhance store conditions, improve team performance, and develop subject matter knowledge
- Participate in store tours, trainings, and meetings
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to company guidelines
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive relationships
- Organizational skills, initiative, and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to interpret company policies
