Electrical Engineer III

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Electrical Engineer III to join Toyo Tires NA at our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in White, Georgia. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, installing, and maintaining large-scale electronic equipment or machinery. Your expertise in applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering will be crucial to ensure efficient production methods and optimal utilization of equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, test, install, and maintain electronic equipment for manufacturing or power applications.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineers to ensure equipment design and maintenance.
• Research, analyze, and design products such as controls, robots, and mechanical systems.
• Direct engineering personnel and coordinate fabrication and installation activities.
• Apply statistical methods to estimate equipment capability for future manufacturing needs.

Technical Skills Required

• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Design and modify electrical controls to improve reliability and productivity.
• Programming and troubleshooting controls, preferably Mitsubishi PLC's.
• Perform calibration of electrical systems and components.
• Read, interpret, troubleshoot, and modify PLC and Servo programs.
• Communicate effectively across departments and manage projects from concept to implementation.
