Job Description

The Engineer, Level 1, at Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences is responsible for maintaining the property in optimal condition with minimum inconvenience to customers and employees. The role involves performing various repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure uninterrupted operation.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to hotel air conditioning systems, including changing filters and cleaning coils.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems.
• Replace and repair various fixtures, furniture, pumps, and plumbing components.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment and hotel electronic lock systems.
• Test, clean, and maintain swimming pools and spas.
• Complete painting, sheet rock repair, and wall covering tasks.
• Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; trade school or related coursework beneficial.
• At least one year of experience in a hotel or similar field preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work flexible hours when required.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and exerting force.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Maintain a high level of personal appearance and professionalism.
• Must attend all required hotel meetings and trainings.
• Ability to handle and resolve guest and employee concerns efficiently.
• Adhere to safety standards and hotel regulations for efficient operations.
• Initiative in problem anticipation and solution implementation.
