Job Description
The Engineer 2 position at Stanford Court Hotel is crucial for the maintenance of the property to ensure the utmost convenience for guests and employees. Handling a variety of tasks related to HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, and more, the Engineer 2 plays a vital role in maintaining the property's infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs to the hotel's air conditioning system, such as changing filters and cleaning coils.
- Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment, including boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems.
- Replace light switches, receptacles, fixtures, and furniture as needed.
- Perform plumbing repairs, troubleshoot kitchen equipment, and maintain swimming pools and spas.
- Assist in supervising engineering staff members and scheduling preventive maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required, along with one year of experience in a hotel or related field.
- Trade school or college coursework in a related field preferred.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and work flexible hours as required.
- Effective communication skills and attentive, service-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, handle problems effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
