Job Description
The Engineer at The Gabriel South Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton is responsible for maintaining the property in optimal condition, minimizing inconvenience to customers and employees. This role involves tasks such as repairing the air conditioning system, conducting preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting and repairing kitchen equipment, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and Federal codes.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs to the hotel's air conditioning system, such as changing filters and cleaning coils.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment like boilers, chillers, and electrical systems.
- Test and maintain equipment readings, cooling towers, and televisions.
- Replace light switches, receptacles, fixtures, and perform furniture repair.
- Conduct plumbing repairs, electrical work, and troubleshoot kitchen equipment.
- Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Paint designated areas, repair and finish sheet rock and wall coverings.
- Program and repair the hotel's electronic lock system.
