Job Description
The Elser Hotel & Residences is seeking a full-time Engineer to join our team. As an Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the property to the highest standards with minimal disruption to guests and staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a luxury condominium hotel environment located in Downtown Miami.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs to hotel air conditioning systems, perform preventive maintenance on equipment, and test readings.
- Replace televisions, light switches, furniture, pumps, and perform plumbing repairs.
- Understand and read blueprints, troubleshoot kitchen equipment, and complete various maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with experience in a hotel or related field.
- Trade school or college coursework is helpful, with at least one year of hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, communicate effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a service-oriented approach.
- Must attend required meetings, maintain professional grooming, and comply with hotel standards.
