Job Description
The Ketch Inn & Marina is seeking a dedicated Engineer, Level 1, for a seasonal position from April to September 2024. As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the property is maintained efficiently to provide a comfortable environment for our guests and employees.
Responsibilities
- Make repairs to hotel air conditioning systems and perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
- Test and record equipment readings, troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment, and maintain repair records.
- Perform painting, sheet rock repairs, plumbing maintenance, and electronic lock system programming.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; experience in a hotel-related field preferred.
- Trade school or college coursework helpful; flexible hours may be required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and employees; maintain high standards of appearance and grooming.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills, high productivity, and confidentiality in all tasks.
Salary
Salary Range: $18-$20/hour
