Job Description
We are looking for an Executive Director, Late Development Team Lead in the Oncology sector at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. In this critical role, you will lead the Late Development Team (LDT) to drive the late product lifecycle strategy, integrating scientific, regulatory, medical, and commercial aspects for global product development.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional LDT(s) from proof of concept to approval.
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the product aligned with Jazz’s mission.
- Collaborate with key functions to optimize product value for patients.
- Participate in governance reviews, long-range planning, and regulatory filings.
- Mentor team members, provide strategic guidance, and align resources for product strategy execution.
- Ensure timely escalation of risks and issues, and contribute to portfolio initiatives.
- Engage with external partners and key stakeholders for collaborations and strategic projects.
Requirements
- 15+ years of global drug development experience in pharma/biotech.
- Proven leadership in strategic multi-functional environments.
- Experience in late-phase Solid Tumor Oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead global cross-functional teams and collaborations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, problem-solving skills, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong communication, influencing, and leadership skills.
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
Salary and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary range of $253,600-$380,400 with additional benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k savings plan, paid vacation, and more.
