Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc (NASDAQ: JAZZ) is a global biopharmaceutical company seeking an Executive Director, Late Development Team Lead in Oncology. The role involves leading the Late Development Team (LDT) in designing and executing global product strategies for late-stage product lifecycle management. The position requires strategic and operational leadership to progress products from proof of concept to approval. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing integrated product development plans, ensuring team accountability and effectiveness, and aligning organizational resources for successful product execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in global multi-disciplinary drug development, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of innovation in late-stage drug development. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional Late Development Team(s) in product strategy and execution.
  • Establish vision and strategy for product development in collaboration with matrix teams.
  • Develop Integrated Product Development Plans (iPDPs) and oversee regulatory filings.
  • Provide strategic guidance to functional matrix teams and ensure optimal team performance.
  • Manage project budget, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize product value.

Preferred Qualifications

  • +15 years of global drug development experience in pharma/biotech industry.
  • Proven success in leading complex late-stage drug development programs.
  • Experience in Solid Tumor Oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead collaborations and alliances effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in challenging drug development environments.
