Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Executive Director to lead our Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. In this role, you will oversee the execution and delivery of our Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline, ensuring strategic operational planning, project cost estimations, and successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge in solid tumor clinical development, ICH/GCP requirements, and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all operational aspects of the Jazz late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
  • Assure accuracy and appropriateness of clinical research budgets and timelines, supporting development teams in scenario planning/costing.
  • Mentor and provide direction to staff, ensuring alignment with corporate and project goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of fifteen years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 10 years in oncology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, in-depth knowledge of clinical research functions, and regulatory understanding.
  • Business acumen, negotiation skills, and expertise in clinical operations.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Note: US-based candidates only. Salary range $256,000-$384,000.
