Job Description
S&C Electric Company is seeking a Food Service (Line Cook) for its self-operated Food Service Department. As a critical member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining sanitation standards in the company's cafeterias, delivering supplies, washing dishes, stocking inventory, and other food service tasks.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and supplies to designated areas.
- Handle and wash dishes, stock inventory, and perform cleaning tasks.
- Learn and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Support services as required and operate the cash register or assist in food preparation.
Requirements
- Ability to become a certified driver for cafeteria vehicles.
- Meet daily deadlines, work well in a team, and follow verbal instructions.
- Obtain food safety certification within the first 60 days.
- Food service experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Standing, lifting items up to 50 lbs, walking moderate distances, carrying items, pushing and pulling food carts, bending, and reaching.
