Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in managing day-to-day store activities, supervising the team, and ensuring overall store performance. Your responsibilities will include developing operational plans, identifying training opportunities, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing action plans to improve store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
  • Identify training opportunities for team members.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide product feedback.
  • Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Follow company policies and uphold security and confidentiality standards.

Job Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Previous retail experience and management skills preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Previous management experience is a plus.
