Job Description

Join our team as a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager at Aldi and take on key store management responsibilities. You will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans while identifying training opportunities to develop and grow the team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans for improved operating results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to ensure desired results.
  • Identify training opportunities for enhanced performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and make necessary adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
  • Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper store signage.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the team and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Previous retail experience and management experience preferred.
