Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store operations, supervising staff, and ensuring a high level of customer service. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business performance and maintaining the store's overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
- Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and make recommendations to stay ahead.
- Supervise store personnel and ensure operational standards are met.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure product quality and freshness.
- Uphold company policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Previous retail experience, with at least 3 years of progressive responsibility.
- Experience in managing teams and driving performance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate necessary store equipment efficiently and safely.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; management experience preferred.
