Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store operations, supervising staff, and ensuring a high level of customer service. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving business performance and maintaining the store's overall efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and make recommendations to stay ahead.
  • Supervise store personnel and ensure operational standards are met.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure product quality and freshness.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older to apply.
  • Previous retail experience, with at least 3 years of progressive responsibility.
  • Experience in managing teams and driving performance.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate necessary store equipment efficiently and safely.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; management experience preferred.
