Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the store's cleanliness. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, and collaborating with team members to create a great shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and support customers during their shopping visits.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to maintain store standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Satisfy state and local requirements for alcohol sales where applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable.
