Job Description

Join our team as a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi and be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. As a crucial part of the ALDI team, you will collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide feedback to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies.
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise efficiently and handle items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Perform various physical tasks such as bending, reaching, lifting, and walking.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Proficiency in customer service and cash register operation.
• Ability to operate store equipment and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication skills and the capability to work both independently and in a team.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience that demonstrates suitable knowledge.
