Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, customers are served efficiently, and the store maintains high standards of cleanliness. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with team members.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI key competencies and professional skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Assist customers with shopping and provide exceptional service
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Contribute feedback on products and inventory
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company procedures and maintain confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous service
- Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling
- Adherence to cleaning standards and company policies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
