Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure it looks its best at all times.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
- Capability to perform cleaning and stocking duties to company standards
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
