Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills)
- Assist customers with shopping and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate cash register efficiently and accurately
- Handle equipment and perform cleaning duties following standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
