Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to offer customers a top-notch shopping experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's overall success.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Report product feedback, inventory issues, and operational concerns to management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Maintain store security and confidentiality of information
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or above
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of following company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Ability to meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
